Feed the brain....

Glucose is the fuel of the brain.  The brain is a hungry guy with only 2 percent of the weight of the body it takes in 20% of the glucose supply.  This is taken in as dietary carbohydrate which is transported to the brain by the bloodstream.  The brain requires 4oz. of glucose a day.  If the supply of oxygen and glucose is cut off then it can only survive for 10 minutes.  This is why it is important to get help if there is cardiac arrest.
There is a structure in the bottom half of the brain called the circle of willis.  It is located at the bottom of the brain and routes the oxygen and glucose to different areas of the brain.  If one of the routes becomes blocked then one of the other routes takes care of the circulation.
I am constantly amazed by the ability of the body to function at the rate that it does.  I hope that you can join me to witness the beauty of LENS neurofeedback and how it can help to create a smooth working environment.  Call soon
