Come to the calm of a well functioning brain.
Depression can be recognized as sadness or despair. We all go through it. However, we need to look into the problem if it is causing problems with your memory, higher thinking and completing tasks. It can also include the feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and despair. It can also affect your immune system. All of these things can interrupt your ability to think clearly, which also impacts your memory and decision making skills. You could have problems with seeing your way through these issues. All of these thinking problems can lead to alcoholism and suicide. This is all related to a reduction and interruption of the brains chemical messengers.
Some of the things that you can learn to do are to break down the tasks into smaller pieces. Learn to recognize and improve your brain function. Be aware of the thinking that leads you into a pit of ugliness. Do not fight to or it will just get bigger. Learn to be the center where all of this thinking is released. There is nothing good or bad, thinking makes it so. Shakespeare Try LENS neurofeedback, it helps to keep the feather of depression in the distance so that you can function better, and blow it away.

Here is some information about SPD from Neurosciencenews.com. Sensory Processing Disorder is loosely defined as extreme reactivity to tactile, auditory, or visual stimulation. The onset of the reaction to this sensory input of seeing, hearing or touching can have a sudden onset and unpredictability. The child (and parents) can be stuck in flight, fight or freeze response in reaction to the environment. They are in constant fear of the reaction of the child to stimulus. This can be hearing a musical instrument, a sudden noise, etc. About and 90% of the population with autism also have this reactivity. However, this can include other factors such as fixated interests, repetitive motions, and social indifference.
Elysa Marco of UCSF and her colleagues have been researching these brain differences. They have found that there is a difference in the white matter of the children with SPD. These areas are related to perceiving, thinking, and learning. These traits also relate to the auditory, visual, and tactile abilities. Please look at this article if someone you know has these problems. It offers some help to seek. LENS neurofeedback can help with the sensory system. It helps to create a higher functioning brain, so the brain works better. This will not To continue with yesterdays discussion. The antidote is to understanding why people manipulate others.
These people are not malicious. They usually do not know how to cope and deal with their emotions. They are only expressing hurt and confusion. They have learned how to attack instead of reaching out. They have learned to insult instead of apologizing. They have learned how to blame the world instead of accepting responsibility. They project their unhappiness People that manipulate can oversimplify, they can reduce a complicated situation to black and white.
They refocus the point of an argument in favor of themselves. They like their own point of view. They like to use the words, never and always. You never do this or that.... You always..... They exaggerate. They call a second request harassment. They focus on their own pain. They have inner pain and can only find that pain in the world around them. If you find a point to agree upon, they will change their perception and deny it. If you find a point to agree upon, they will keep changing the agreement and run in another direction with lots of other points. We will look at the antidote tomorrow. LENS neurofeedback can help to smooth out this bouncing around. Be grateful for who ever comes, because each has been sent as a guide from beyond. The minute I heard my first love story, I started looking for you, not knowing how blind that was. Lovers don't finally meet somewhere, they are in each other all along. Protect yourself from you won thoughts. Don't get lost in your pain, know that one day your pain will become your cure. Don't grieve. Anything you lose comes round in another form. LENS Helps with TBI's. Researchers from the University of Cordoba have been looking into empathy and prejudice. They used information from 250 students to understand the importance of the differences.
Empathy is regarded as putting oneself into another persons shoes. They found that empathy does not have a direct effect on prejudice. However, it does have an indirect effect on personality and attitude. When someone has low empathy they score high on authoritarianism. Someone with empathy has an openness to experience. When someone has, what is called "right wing authoritarianism" they defend social stability and values of culture. LENS neurofeedback helps the brain to work better. It helps to create a calm state of mind. A man is what he thinks about all day long. Ralph Waldo Emerson
It's beautiful to be alone. To be alone does not mean to be lonely. It means the mind is not influenced and contaminated by society. Juddu Kristnamurti It is very healthy to spend time alone. You need to know how to be Alone. And not be defined by another person. Oscar Wilde What you seek, is seeking you. Rumi Go deeper past thoughts, into silence. Past silence, into stillness, Past stillness into the heart, Let Love consume all that is left of you. Rumi You have to keep breaking your heart until it opens. Rumi If you are irritated by every rub, how will you be polished? Rumi The fundamental rule of plasticity in the brain has been discovered at MIT. The scientists at MIT have proven how neurons in the brain are flexible or plastic. Neurons can learn to create new or stronger connections with other neurons. They have also found that when one synapse strengthens the neighboring synapses weaken. One neuron can effect thousands of other neurons, which in turn can effect the 100 billion interacting neurons in the brain.
The scientists were able to activate the plasticity in the brain of mice in the visual cortex. Through optogenics they were able to change the visual cortex field. They taught the mouses brain to rearrange the neurons. They were able to record this change with a two photon microscope. I would love to be able to play with this equipment. LENS neurofeedback can change the environment in the brain to defrag the the areas that have been compromised by physical or emotional trauma. Here is some research from Cornell University. Areas of the brain can be different for left vs. right handed people or in between. Since the 1970's, hundreds of studies have found that each hemisphere of the brain is home to a specific type of emotion. Emotions linked to approaching the world such as, happiness, pride, anger lives in the left side of the brain. While avoidance emotions such as disgust and fear is located in the right side of the brain. This study shook everything up. Because the older studies used right hand dominate people, the left handed people were not included. The researchers from the Cornell study, found that the left handed people could have all of the neurons reversed. This is how they approach or avoid the world. With the neural therapies that are around, mild electrical or magnetic stimulation, they are treating the part of the brain that encourage approach related emotions. This could be damaging the left handed people, because the neural connections are reversed.
LENS neurofeedback does not use electrical or magnetic stimulation. It uses a radio frequency that is a billion times lower than your cell phone. This gentle, effective treatment allows the brain to heal on its own regardless of the neural placement. First a quote.
Having more of a willingness to fail and putting yourself in vulnerable positions can often be the fastest way to succeed. Anjali Sud To add on to the blog of 2 days ago. If you drink green tea and turmeric for breakfast this will increase working memory and brain cell growth. Just 12 minutes of mindful mediation can improve focus and mood. This is fair better then listening to the news. Most CEO's do not make the news a daily intake. Try to avoid bad news, it triggers the limbic system and the amaygdala. These two areas then trigger anxiety. Checking the news can become an addiction. If you do meditation then it will improve focus and mood. Breakfast should be a good combination of protein and good fats. If you grab a bagel or a pastry the refined carbs can create crashes in the brain. This can lead to depression. A simple thing to do is decide what you will wear in the morning the night before. If you live close enough, try walking or cycling to work. Commuting has been measured as the most stressful part of the day. This can create a spike in cortisol and adrenaline. And of course it can create respiratory problems. LENS neurofeedback helps to create a better environment for the brain to heal. Give it a try. Call soon. |
