Come to the calm of a well functioning brain.
I did some research and was looking for the positive words in our vocabulary. Then I realized that we would not have the positive emotions, unless we had the negative emotions. We would be nothing but a lump of mud, or something. To be a genuine person I need all of these emotions. Even if they drag me into the mud person side of things.
Have you ever seen one of those charts of emotions? I think that it is really important to be in contact with all of the emotional elements of our self. So here is a good list. Exhausted Confused Ecstatic Guilty Suspicious Angry Hysterical Frustrated Sad Confident Embarrassed Happy Mischievous Disgusted Frightened Enraged Ashamed Cautious Smug Depressed Overwhelmed Hopeful Lonely Lovestruck Jealous Bored Surprised Anxious Shocked Shy To understand all of the bottom level of these emotions, takes time and being genuine. We need to be vulnerable to be able to express ourselves. Carry this list around and do research on yourself.
