Come to the calm of a well functioning brain.
Here is some information about luck and how to have it. There is research going on about this theme. Much of the information that I found had a subjective theme. This means that we need to believe that we have good luck. Belief in luck goes with having feelings of control, optimism and low anxiety. Lets take an example, you show up for a date feeling relaxed, confident and positive. You will look more appealing to the other person. People who feel lucky work harder and plan better. They are better at predicting better outcomes. Another example of this would be, you have a big print job coming up. The person that feels lucky plans ahead to make sure that there is enough ink. The person who feels unlucky has less than happy outcomes. They have a lower ability to organize (why didn't I get more ink) and plan.
Part of this stems from the idea of "Why me". This is what is called an upward comparison. Why weren't these other people in an accident or assaulted. Others feel happy that they survived an accident and compare themselves to others who have had worse fates. This later view helps to hold onto optimism, and gratitude. This makes you feel lucky in life. The wounds can be healed and there can be another shot at success. With this time at hand, I hope that all of you are safe and lucky. Keep a good outlook, things will get better. LENS works!!!
