Come to the calm of a well functioning brain.

Grateful for our big brain......

I just read an article in Neuroscience News that was written by a neuroscientist.  He spends his time making up a soup of brain matter to find our how many neurons are in the brains of different species, including ourselves.  He has found that we use our whole brain, not just 10%.  Someone is laughing about creating that myth.  We have more neurons, like most primates, in our cerebral cortex.  The cerebral cortex allows us to make plans for the future, instead of just simple detection and response.  It also makes us more flexible to stimulus and creates more complex cognition.  This means that if there is a stress, we can find other ways of getting things done. Our brain also takes more energy to work.  The great apes eat 8 hours a day of raw food.  We get to do other things with our time because of the invention of cooking.
So we need to cook yummy food for each other and learn more about what others have to offer.

LENS neurofeedback is good at treating the whole brain to a better way of thinking.  It does not tell the brain what to do, it just allows it to wake up the neurons that are sleeping.
