Sleep helps us to cement our memories, clear out toxins, solve problems and make decisions.  Important stuff!  Not having good sleep can cause problems such as, poorer health, faster ageing, depression, forgetfulness, obesity, lower alertness and accidents.  So let us look at some of the strategies that can make sleep come a little easier.
#1.  Develop a routine, the body responses well to habits.
#2.  Make sure that the lights are dimmed an hour before sleep.  Turn off the computers, T.V., cell phones, etc.
#3.  Take regular exercise, not before sleep time.
#4.  Reduce your intake of alcohol and caffeine.
#5.  If your a natural worrier find ways to relax.
If you really have a hard time sleeping, then get up for a little while and then try again.  Read something complicated.
LENS neurofeedback can help the brain to find it's new rhythm.  It can help to relieve all of the nervous symptoms that keep our brain hardwired to keep us up at night.
