Come to the calm of a well functioning brain.

Lifespan depends on your Brain more than your Body....

The scientists at Vanderbilt University have been studying the neurons in warm blooded animals and birds.  They have found that the more neurons that we have in the cerebral cortex creates our ability to live longer.  Body size is not an indicator of longevity.   They have found a way to count the number of neurons in the brains of many different species (humans versus the ape, for example).  They have compared this study with a longitudinal study of the average life span of a variety of species.  So they have been able to conclude that the more neurons we have the longer we will last.
They have also found that the more damages to the brain, the more limited the neurons that are available.  This damage impacts the function of the body to a greater degree.  The brain is in charge of behavior and the flexibility of the body.  This impacts the ability of the body to adjust and react to stressors.

LENS neurofeedback can improve the ability of the brain to function.  It can help the brain to recover from emotional and physical stressors.  This leads to a better functioning body.
