Come to the calm of a well functioning brain.
Let's take a step back and look at the different parts of the brain and how they function. The brain has 4 lobes in each cerebral hemisphere where there are fissures that divide them. The 4 hemispheres are the frontal, temporal (over the ear), parietal (this is the parent on the back part of the brain, yes they are still watching us.) and the occipital region the the lower part of the brain.
The front (or frontal) part of the brain is responsible for the personality, behavior, emotions, judgement, speech, body movements and intelligence. The parietal lobe takes care of the interpretation of language, touch, pain. It also translates the signals from visual and hearing. The occipital lobe interprets vision (color, light, movement). The temporal lobe helps us to understand language, holds on to memory (long term) and hearing. This is a short list of some parts of the brain. They all interact and weave and dance together. Beautiful!!! LENS neurofeedback helps this dance to work together.
