Come to the calm of a well functioning brain.
We have all done things in our life that have hurt others. However, there are those that have done things that are far worse. And the interesting thing is that they keep doing it. Some of the personality traits are narcissism. spitefulness, and moral disengagement. There is a combination of these traits that make up how people make it O.K. to harm others. Some researchers found one personality trait is at the core of doing evil. The researchers published their information in the Psychology Review and called this personality trait the Dark Factor of Personality or "D". This factor is identified by the degree to which people single-mindedly focus on achieving their goal while callously disregarding the harm that they cause to others. There are three components that make up this trait. The first trait is doing whatever is necessary to succeed. The second trait is purposefully interfering with other peoples goals and usually considering themselves superior to others. These traits can be considered a form of selfishness that is at it's core bad. These traits can be related to sadism and psychopathy. Get me out of here. We need to learn why these traits are created.
