Trauma....

Here is another brief explanation from Psychology Today about Trauma.  Trauma can cause immense distress-that you might not want to relive.  And it can have a long term effect on the person's well being.  Time does not always make the trauma go away or better.  Many do not just get over it.
Giving your brain permission to process the trauma can cause intense emotions, cognition's and physiological responses.  It can get the amygdala to go into the flight, fight or freeze with memories attached.  Research has shown that the amygdala can keep activated and can relive the experience of trauma when triggered by a similar event.

I have found that when the brain is triggered by memories, this can lead to a response that is lower than the higher functioning brain.  This is a low brain response.  This part of the brain is nonverbal.  It is difficult to grab on to this memory.

LENS neurofeedback can help the brain to calm down and process the stimulus that is blocking the way to freedom from anxiety or any other condition
