Come to the calm of a well functioning brain.

We have these waves, like an ocean, in the brain.....

We have these ultra slow waves in the brain.  When a MRI scan is made, these waves have been detected.  In the past, these waves were considered an effect of the MRI scan itself.  However, the researchers at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, have been studying mouse brains.  They have found that these ultra slow waves are not just noise, but create a pattern similar to ocean waves.  They have discovered that these waves are part of the way that the brain coordinates itself and is linked to consciousness.  The 100 billion neurons are coordinated by different wave lengths.  When the waves are choppy there is more activity in this area of the brain.  Even when we are daydreaming, then the brain is still buzzing as much as with a tough math problem.  The researchers have found so far that the brains of people with neuropsychological disease have the same ultra slow wave pattern as someone who is considered normal.

LENS neurofeedback can help the brain to heal.  The frequency is very low and can not harm you.
