If we go to a doctor, and we have a problem with panic attacks, we will most likely be given a bensodiazephine or something like Xanac to help with this out of control problem.  However, (!!!!) this drug can lead to dependence,  If you try to get off of this drug without supervision it can lead to seizures.  I wonder about how much of the brain is affected by this drug intervention.  It can also lead to addiction.  Because people become more tolerant of the drug they will need more and more of it to keep the panic at bay.
There were 11,537 deaths related to the use of this drug in 2017.
The talk therapy intervention is usually CBT or cognitive behavioral therapy.  This therapy can be ineffective if the client is in a panic state and can't remember what the instructions were.

LENS neurofeedback can help to keep the brain in a calm state.  It can keep the brain from being hijacked by panic.
